The Special Events Centre at Ground Effects Landscapes offers the ultimate, peaceful setting for your special event. Set on 50 landscaped acres, our location is extremely unique to the area. Conveniently located Northeast of Hanover, your guests will be delighted to share the experience with you.

Our Special Events Centre is equipped with an open concept kitchen and wood burning fireplace. It is sectioned off without doors to encourage your guests to mingle as well as allowing you to have a separate dining area. We offer full internet access with 2 large TV screens to share photos straight from your laptop or iPhone/iPad/iPod via Apple TV. Three sets of French Doors and a beautiful arched wooden main door lead to a deck that runs the length of the building. Your guests will be amazed when they see the stunning stone courtyard, surrounding planting beds, water feature and the largest Dry Stone Stable constructed in North America. The Stone Stable was constructed at the 2012 Stonewurx Festival by some of the world's best craftsmen. It features a green roof, fireplace and large pass through doors leading to a grassy area where a large tent is erected.

If you are considering having your wedding with us, there are many choices on the property for a wedding ceremony, photographs and the reception. The beauty of our location is that we can offer the whole package. The Event Centre will comfortably hold approximately 60 people for a sit down dinner and up to 120 people for a stand up affair that flows into the courtyard, stable and deck.

We also have to offer, an area equipped with a white tent that is conveniently located behind the stone stable. Parking is plentiful and the various locations on the property make it a photographer's delight. There is even a stocked pond with a fountain and balcony!

Whether you are hosting a casual family get-together, anniversary dinner, birthday party or a formal elegant wedding, our location can accommodate you in every aspect. Our knowledgeable staff is available to make you special day one to remember. We can assist you in finding florals, photographers, caterers and other rentals.
